Willie Russell

William "Willie" Fraser Russell^[1] was a Scottish professional footballer.

Russell scored both goals for Airdrieonians when they won the 1923-24 Scottish Cup Final. This is the only major trophy Airdrie have won to date. He formed part of a potent Airdrie front three along with Hughie Gallacher and Bob McPhail that also finished second that season in Scotland's top division. Russell represented the Scottish League twice.^[1]
